Recognising

As we near into the end of the financial year, this is a great time to recognise your clients and take advantage of the tax benefits (please seek advice from you accountant).

Recognising when an important client deserves more than a simple "thank you" is one of the most critical aspects to the success of any business. At InterVino, we offer you the opportunity to say it personally in a way that is not only different, but spectacular! Delivering a bottle or two of quality Barossa Valley Shiraz to a client is now remarkably easy, and will leave a lasting impression. Simply place an order and let your clients know just how important their business is to you.

Every now and then things somehow turn upside down - from a service mishap in business through to a misunderstanding or falling out of touch. Ease the situation and re-establish the right contact with a treasured bottle of wine direct to a customer or friend. InterVino not only expresses the words of sorry but invites the opportunity to share.

Wine - The Perfect Gift

We went to my husbands work friends 40th today.  Great day for a pool party.

Being in the gift business I was keen to see what was given. A remote control car, a soccer ball and cap, a mug from his staff, and a calendar were the few he opened in public.  It made me remember why we started Intervino. Nearly everyone loves wine, and if not, it's something you can take to someones house and share it, or dare i say regift - if you are into that! Just take off the gift card and no- one would know!!!

I felt for him. The money he spent on grog and food he could have bought himself something really nice instead of a party.

Would he have preferred some top shelf wines or a bottle or 3 of his favorite spirit?

When you don't know what people like and are stuck for gift ideas, send a gift of wine spirit or bubbly. Something they can enjoy instead of a dust collector that won't end up in a garage sale or the bin!

Wine is the only gift worth collecting dust on!

Breath Test

Christmas holidays, we were driving to my parents and we were waved into an RBT set up.  My son (age 4) asked why the police were waving at us, and my husband said it was a random breath test. My son started to cry, inconsolable, "what's wrong? Why are you so sad?" we asked. "I didn't brush my teeth this morning or last night! I don't want them to take me away!"

Hard not to laugh...but Extremly funny and cute, I just had to share the story.

Stay safe on the roads and before you drive - always brush your teeth!

Intervino promotes safe drinking... Please Don't drink and drive, keep our roads and our families safe.

Have Intervino at your Fingertips

Although we operate an online business, I enjoy meeting my customers face to face. This isn't always easy as I know so many of you are so busy.

I had the pleasure of meeting with a customer, who is a BDM for an IT company. He said that Intervino.com.au was a great tool, cause he can now place an order online through his I-phone immediately after a client meeting. He simply has www.intervino.com.au saved as an open page in safari, logs in using his user name and password, so his details are autofilled in the order form and he knows a gift will be delivered tomorrow. He said the power of this is amazing for his business, because it's instant.

Open www.intervino.com.au in safari and open anything else in a new page, and always have intervino at your fingertips. Don't put off what you do right now, and let Intervino help you stand out from your competitors.

Any phone that has access to the internet can benefit from placing orders instantly as this is not an app, it's a website. Enjoy!

If you are awarded with employee of the month let  us know, we love hearing and publishing success stories.

A Toast to My Husband's Father

My husband's father passed recently in Holland and he wanted to send his mother something special that wasn't flowers.

He looked endlessly at websites overseas and finally found one that would send an olive tree.

To my husband it signified peace, his father was now resting in peace, after years of pain. However his mother doesn't see it. In her 80's she mentioned in conversation, "I don't know what to do with this tree". My husband was a little disappointed she didn't appreciate the symbolization.

Would it have meant more to send a bottle of wine or champagne, with a card saying " to drink a toast to celebrate his life. Always in our heart."

This gift / gesture could be opened alone, or shared with family &/or friends. It has symbolism in many ways.

Wine is a gift that you don't need to watch die, it's not there as a constant reminder, it is a gift that can be enjoyed and appreciated for it's intent.

This is why we went and purchased a bottle of Henschke Cyril, poured two glasses and drank a toast, "to celebrate his life... Forever in our hearts Dad"
